Airfix H0-00 D.U.K.W.

This Airfix D.U.K.W. in H0/00 scale (1:76) is a complete ready-to-use plastic model, originating from the military vehicle series that Airfix brought onto the market in the 1960s and 1970s. The D.U.K.W., also known as "Duck", was an American amphibious vehicle that was used intensively during the Second World War for the transport of troops and equipment from ship to beach. Thanks to its six-wheel drive and propeller, the vehicle was suitable for both land and water use and became particularly famous during the Allied landings in Normandy.

Unlike the well-known Airfix construction kits, this model is a pre-assembled plastic vehicle - manufactured in a fixed scale suitable for model trains in H0-00 (1:76). The model was intended for direct display in dioramas, military displays or as a supplement to model railways.
