Corgi Toys No. 384 Adams Probe 16, produced between 1970 and 1972 in Great Britain. This rare and striking diecast miniature is in played-with condition, but is complete and equipped with the original "Whizzwheels," the fast plastic wheels that became the new standard at Corgi in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
The Adams Probe 16 was a highly futuristic sports car, designed by brothers Dennis and Peter Adams. Only three real cars were ever built. Its low, wedge-shaped body and radical design made it world-famous when it appeared in Stanley Kubrick's cult film "A Clockwork Orange" (1971), where it became known as the "Durango 95."
Despite its played-with condition, this example still has plenty of charm. The paint shows signs of wear and minor wear, typical of a model beloved by children of its time. The working roof mechanism is usually still present, and the original Whizzwheels provide an authentic look.
A distinctive and unique collector's model from the early 1970s – beloved for its design, film history, and rarity. Perfect for collectors of unique concept cars or fans of vintage Corgi models.
