A rare and beautifully preserved example of the Corgi Toys No. 384 Renault 11 Electric, produced in 1983 in Great Britain. This special model comes with the original factory packaging, specially designed for Renault, and both are in excellent condition, a unique opportunity for collectors of promotional diecast models.

The Renault 11 was a compact hatchback launched in 1983 as the successor to the Renault 14. In collaboration with various car manufacturers, they experimented with electric vehicles in the early 1980s, resulting in, among other things, this rare Renault 11 Electric, a prototype of an electric city car before its time.

Corgi Toys capitalized on this technological innovation and, in collaboration with Renault, developed a promotional model of the electric variant. This resulted in the Corgi 384, which was delivered in a specially designed Renault box, not to be confused with the standard Corgi packaging. The model was generally not sold in regular toy stores, but rather distributed or offered through Renault channels, making this version exceptionally rare.

Both the model and the original Renault box are in very good condition, with bright colors, minimal wear, and complete printing. The packaging often also features references to Renault's commitment to innovative mobility in the 1980s.

A rare piece of automotive and toy history that reflects Renault's early electric ambitions. A must-have for the Corgi collector or enthusiast of unique promotional models. Scale 1:36.
