An original example of the Dinky Toys No. 163 Bristol 450 Racing Car, produced by Meccano Ltd. in England between 1956 and 1960. This racing car is one of the early sporting models in the Dinky range and a fascinating piece of racing history in miniature form.

The Bristol 450 was a British sports car designed for endurance races such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The car won its class in 1954 and 1955 and was known for its streamlined, aerodynamic bodywork and advanced technology. Dinky Toys released this model shortly thereafter, reflecting the growing interest in motorsports among young people and collectors.

The Dinky version features the characteristic long tailfin and open cockpit, and bears the distinctive number 27 on the hood and sides, a nod to the original racing cars. The model is finished in a dark green color typical of British racing cars of that era (British Racing Green).

This example is in good condition. The paint is largely intact with only minor signs of age and play, and the wheels and axles are straight and functional. The model comes with a high-quality reproduction box, accurately reproduced from the original 1950s design, with the correct colors, typography, and model information. Perfect for displaying or protecting this historic model.

A unique collector's model from the early Dinky Toys era, with a strong connection to British motorsport history. A valuable addition to any classic Dinky collection.
