Sio Caltex Garage 1970

Step back in time with this beautiful SIO Caltex Garage from 1970, a true collector's item for lovers of vintage toys. This wooden garage, produced by the legendary Dutch toy manufacturer SIO, breathes the atmosphere of the seventies and is an excellent example of craftsmanship from that time.

Produced around 1970 and including the characteristic Caltex advertising texts, pillar and the plastic petrol pumps. This garage is also equipped with the original working car lift, with which the cars can be moved realistically between the floors. The garage is very well preserved and is complete and has minimal traces of use.

SIO (Speelgoed Industrie Overijssel) was a Dutch manufacturer known for its durable, educational and often metal toys. In collaboration with well-known brands such as Caltex, (at the time a prominent petrol chain in the Netherlands), SIO brought realistic garages and petrol stations onto the market that appealed to the imagination of many children. These models were not only used as toys, but have now become beloved collector's items because of their nostalgic value and build quality.
