The Dinky Toys 112 Austin Healey Sprite was produced by Meccano Ltd. in Liverpool from 1961 to 1966. This model is based on the Austin Healey Sprite Mk1, a compact and sporty British roadster that became best known as the "Frogeye" (or "Bugeye" in the US) because of its distinctive, high-mounted headlights.

The Dinky Toys model features a detailed cast iron body, an open interior and realistic wheels. It was a popular toy car in its day, and is now a sought-after collector's item.
